A photograph has been received by Mr L. F, de Berry, headmaster of the Central school, from the High Commissioner, Sir James Allen, of the school wreath placed on the cenotaph, London, on the anniversary of Armistice Day. The photo gives an excellent idea of the beautiful nature of the wreath, the flowers being golden buttercups and dark polyanthus with golden centres. The ribbons were of gold and black, the school colours, which had been adopted at the earnest request of the scholars who contributed to the fund. A smaller photo depicts Lady Allen in the act of placing the wreath on the base of the cenotaph. The two photographs have been mounted and now occupy a place of honour on the walls of the school.
