An 80-year-old inmate of the Aged Miners’ Home at Houghal, in England, near Durham, has just married his third wife, who has seen (it) summers. The bride is the widow of an old comrade of the bridegroom. My'husband is as strong as a horse, said the tiride, as the couple were finishing their weekly washing. Edward English certainly looks hale and hearty. He lost his first wife after. 13 months, and had lived with, his second wife for 48 years. During the run of a pack of hounds in Wales, a fox sought refuge in the drawing room of Mrs Parry, whose residence is situated near Llanbadoc. Mrs Parry, who was standing in the room watching the chase, immediately turned lleynard out, and he then ran into the kitchen, where he was met by the huntsmen and hounds and killed. The Master presented the brush to Mrs Parry.
