PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the above was held yesterday. Present: Mesdames Austin-Johnston (president), Hynes, Christie, Owen, Wyllie, Trueman and AlcAlurray. Correspondence was received from tlie Borough Council enclosing donation of £2 2s. Received with thanks, * Accounts amounting to 19/6 wgre passed for payment, The secretary reported that thp bociety’s funds had benefited by the sum of £lO through the Garden Party given by the President, Mrs Austin-Johnston, The nurse’s report for the month showed visits to Foxton four, babies visits to office, 53; adults visits to office 45; visit by nurse to homes, 7; new cases, 2} letters, 2. Nurse Kearns wishes to thank Airs Pearson for the use of bicycle for visiting homes. Collection box 5/3.
