Linklater, accompanied by Mr Edward Newman, made an inspection of the local police residence on Tuesday, and in consequence forwarded a telegram to the Minister of Public Works (Hon. J. G. Coates:—“Have received your telegram in reference to police station at Eoxton and will be pleased to give the matter early consideration.”
