BURGLARY AT TAUMARANUI.
Taumaranui, Last Night. An attempt to break open a. safe in Ellis and Burnand’s office, Taumaranui, was made early on Sunday morning. Burglars forced an entrance through a window and a large safe usually in the corner of the office, was found in the middle of the room with both handles broken. . Apparently the intruders were disturbed and did not finish their work.
