STATEMENT OF RECEIPTS AND
EXPENDITURE.
At yesterday’s meeting of the local Harbour Board, the treasurer’s statement was read- and received as follows: —
Receipts:—Balance as at 1/1/23, £4Ol 18s Id, pilotage £l3 2s, river lighting £3 10s, wharfage (in) £72 4s (id, wharfage (out) £25 12s Bd, ships dues £4 16s lOd, Wharangi rents £2O 15s, Sanatorium £2 10s, Round Bush £l5B 14s, Road Con. £7 10s, miscellaneous: Pilot house £4OO, C. Fee £2 2s, £402 2s, a total of £l,l/2 15s Id. Expenditure: Harbourmaster and assistant £SO, kerosene, benzine, etc. £l4 15s, maintenance and repairs £l6 8s 6d, office expenses £lO4 0s lOd, handling and commission £4O 3s lid, miscellaneous: (Siding £6 ss, cartage £4 Is, R. Con. £Bl 3s, B. Rd. Int. £l2 10s) £lO3 19s, river and B. Section survey, etc. £l3, Insurance and Prem. £59 5s 2d, travelling exs. £1 10s, S. Fund short paid £OO, a total of £403 2s sd. Treasurer’s Balance for 19/3/23, £679 12s Bd.
