Mi's Park, Mayoress of Onekunga, (nee Miss Austin) was a visitor to Foxton during the week-end.

Mr J. Linklater, M.P., has consented to open the Festal Fair in the Town Hall at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday.

The death was announced at Wellington last week of Mi's England, whose husband was for many years local manager of the Bank of New Zealand.

Mr W. D. Bauckham met with a very painful accident last week which will incapacitate him for some time. While lifting a sack of potatoes, he met with an injury to the knee.
