MARCH “AUSSIE.” “Aussie” for March, a copy of which is just to hand, contains all the usual features of cheerfulness. In addition to the special highclass work of R. G. Russoin, the younger set of artists are again well represented so that an acquaintance with “Aussie” means an acquaintance with what is being done in black and white humorous art all over Australasia. The young writers, too, are readily noticeabl and there work shows much brillance and promise. If we must single out one story for special mention it must be the highly laughable one starting on page 24, entitled “Journalistic Camouflage.” There is a sudden laugh in every sedond line. But then it is possible that the special appeal is due to its relation to the Fourth Estate. Tt is after all no better than the many other wonderfully witty items that go to make up this splendid issue.
