Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 14th Maxell, 1923:
"Quotations New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/42, 12id; North Island lamb, 28/42, 12Id; prime Canterbury mutton, 56/64, 3*d; North Island mutton, 56/64, Sijd; ewes, 48/64, 7d; New Zealand prime ox beef, 120/220, hinds sd, fores 3id. Market quiet with little business doing. As compared with last week’s quotations lamb and mutton are id per lb. cheaper; ewes unchanged; hinds of beef id per lb. ueurer and fores unchanged.”
