Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents dated the 2nd March, 1923: “Quotations New Zealand North Island lamb, 28/42, 12|d; North Island mutton, 56/64, 9d; ewes, 48/64, 7£d; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220, hinds, 4Jd; fores 3id. As compared with last week’s quotations lamb is Id per lb. cheaper; ox beef, hinds id per lb. dearer and fores id per lb. cheaper.”
