FOXTON TENNIS CLUB.
The weather conditions have prevented the usual amount of play and ladder matches, etc. during the past week. The committee hope to announce a match with the Manawatu club, to he played on the Poxton courts —particulars in Thursday’s issue. Members are again requested to have all possible practice, as -correspondence is proceeding with a view to iirrauging a Challenge Match early in re the Newman Cup, at present held by the Bulls Tennis Club.
