TEACHERS’ RESIGNATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS. At Wednesday’s meeting of the Wanganui Education Board, the following, resignations and appointments were dealt with: — Resignations accepted: —A- R* O’Donnell, assistant, Taihape; P. S. Clemance,. assistant, Wanganui E.; L. M. O’Brien, head teacher, Keith Street Infants. Appointments confirmed: —Aslihurst: Mr R. G. Hutton, head teacher; Horopito: Mr W. L. Britton, head, teacher; Upper Tutaenui: Mrs J. I. Maiden, sole teacher. Woodlands: Mr.G. S. Simpson, sole teacher ; Rewa: - Mrs M. Sftuart sole teacher; .Marton: Mi' M. Goldsbury, assistant; Patea: Mr C. V. Wjhittington, assistant; Wanganui Central Infants: Miss G. V. Dixon, assistant; .Gonville: Miss W. Swan, assistant; Miss E. A. Bell, assistant; Wanganui East: Miss K. D. Bathgate, assistant, Miss M. M. Perrett, assistant; College Street: Miss G. C..Blamires, assistant; Kairanga: Miss M. G. Relieving Teachers. —It was reported that the strength of the relieving staff at the present time was 25. Grants. —The Education Department notified grant for new outoffices and drainage at Foxton.
