COMMUNITY SINGING.

At the Royal Theatre last night Mr Abel Rowe, the well-known Dominion vocalist, introduced community singing to Foxton in a tangible form. It was not long before the audience broke through its reserve and responded to Mr Rowe’s load. Mr Rowe lias conducted community singing in all the leading theatres in New Zealand and will continue in the Royal Theatre every evening this week. In addition to being a fine singer with a rare ability of getting the audience to “join in,” Mr Rowe has a happy sense of humour and his songs are selected from the latest popular hits.
