BARBARA BEDFORD. Barbara Bedford will appear in a six reel wonder picture to-night, at the Town Hall.' This picture adapted from the novel of the same name contains some intensely exciting scenes, one of which is the wrecking of a high powered racing car, another is the burning of a large hospital while an operation is in progress, and the exciting rescue from the flames. The climax is exceptional and with a first class star the production is excellent. On Wednesday next Ethel Clayton will appear in “For the Defence," and a reminder is given for “Nero and Agrippina,” a 10-reel special. ROYAL PICTURES. Perhaps the greatest animal and human interest story ever screened is the picture version of James Oliver Garwood’s “Kazan” which is to he screened at the Royal Theatre to-night. An outstanding feature of this production is the quite unusual photography, many scenes of the snow-clad Canadian North-West constituting the zenith of pictorial perfection. Come and see how this great animal repays a woman for her kindness. Comedy: “Snooky’s Wild Oats.” Usual prices. On Monday night Nazimova will appear in two characters each resembling in some measure the great Russian star’s own career. The picture is “Madame Peacock” from a story by Rita Weimann, and it brings Nazimova to the screen in a dual role. Prices as usual. On Wednesday pictures and community singing. See advertisement.
