ROYAL PICTURES
On Friday night, “Alan and Woman,” a great dramatic picture, will be screened at the Royal Theatre. The story, though intensely thrilling and developing numerous spirited situations is perfectly clean and while it has to do with the age old comflict of the sexes for supremacy, it is presented in such a manner as to merit the highest praise. On Saturday night Oiver Curwood’s thrilling narrative will be the attraction at the Royal. Iti s a First National super production with .Jane Novak in the leading role. It is a gripping tale of a great malemute dog, “Kazan,” who becomes a killer following the murder of his master. Comedy: . “Snooky’s Wild Ooats.” Prices as usual for this super-fea-ture.
TOWN HALL. A DOUBLE FEATURE BILL,
A double feature bill will be screened at the Town Hall to-mor-row night. The first offering will be that talented actress Shirley Alason in a fine story entitled “The Ragged Heiress.” Many- of these stories run on impossible lines but with this picture there is much room for thought. The second feature is a comedy drama with Eileen Percy in the leading role entitled “Elope if A on Aliist,” a romance with a dasli please! On Saturday another sixveeler will lie screened, “The Face of the World,” with Barbara Bedford in the leading role. This picture is quite exceptional and fuller details will be published on Saturday. A preliminary announcement is made for “Nero and Agiippina,” a ten-reel special.
