RIFLE SHOOTING.
Last Saturday the first shoot was held for Messrs Hartley and Frankland’s trophies, at 500 yards range. There was a good attendance, and the weather conditions were favourable. There were three 7-shot “possibles,’’ including that of Rifleman Adrnore, who was a new member last year. Scores were as follows :
At a committee meeting held on the range, the following team was selected to shoot in the Field Competition at Hautere Cross ki) next Saturday: Messrs A. Barnard, E. Ferguson, H. Frankland, H. Hamer, J. Hartley, S. Head, C. Rand and W. Symons. The team should V"> he ready to leave the gai’age, Clyde ,J^ Vs Street, at 8.30 a.in.
