FATAL RIDING ACCIDENT.

Gsborne, Last Night

A native named Waihipire Kaweua died at Tokomaru Bay as the result of being rolled on by a horse. Deceased was riding in hilly country on Thursday when the horse tripped and threw him and rolled on him. An examination showed that deceased had a fractured spine but he lingered till Sunday. Deceased was 52 years of age, and employed as a station hand.
