HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 3rd instant, reads: —“Hemp, Manila market, quiet, but steady, ‘J 1 grade January-Alar ch shipments sold at £34 15s, February-April shipments, £35; ‘G’ January-March shipments sold, down to £36 10s. New Zealand market steady, quotations nominally unchanged, secondhand sellers asking JE3O 15s fair, January-March shipments.”, _
