ALLEGED THEFT IN 1915.

ACCUSED ARRESTED ON SATURDAY. In 1915, the theft of a horse gig and harness was reported to the Eeilding police by the owner, Alice Mary Monk, and subsequently a warrant was issued for the arrest of a young man charged with the alleged theft. On Saturday Constables Owen and O’Donnoghue arrested the young man at Fox ton and he was formally brought before Mr Perreau, J.P., at the local police court yesterday when he was re-, manded to appear at Feilding on the 12th inst. Bail was allowed accused in £SO and two sureties of a like amount.
