COOPER COMMITED FOR TRIAL.

Wellington, Last Night,

Daniel Richard Cooper was today committed for trial on seven charges of attempting to procure a miscarriage and (wo of attempting to supply women with noxious matter for the same purpose and of doing certain acts to achieve a similar result. Evidence was called in connection with the death of a young woman who was admitted to Wellington Hospital some weeks ago in a serious operation and died after ah immediate operation. Deceased’s brother related his sister's refusal to see a doctor and identified a letter addressed to Cooper asking what date would suit him.
