ROYAL PICTURES.
“Plaything of Destiny,” starring Anita Stewart, will be the feature screening at the Royal Theatre tonight. This is a story of romance of the frozen North and the tropics and permits the talented and beautiful star splendid opportunities to display her versatility. It is a dramatic picture which allows the assembly of players to flash their individual talent to advantage. Miss Stewart does some of the best work of her career on the screen in the role of Julie Laneau who is unwittingly led into marrying a man she did not love. The picture presents a line east that includes Herbert Rawlinson, Walter McGrail, William V. Mong and others. Also comedy, “Pure and Simple,” and extra: “With Stanley in Africa.” Prices 6d and 1/1, children half price.
