SERIOUS CHARGE.
Dunedin, Last Night. A man named B. H. Parker, postmaster at Owaka, was arrested today on a charge of carnally knowing a girl under the age of 16 years. Ife-d was remanded to appear on F.eb- , ruary 1, bail being allowed in accused’s own recognaisunce of £2OO and one surety of £2OO.
