SALVATION ARMY.
A welcome meeting will be held in the local liall of the Salvation Army all day to-morrow to welcome Ensign and Mrs Huston. Although strangers to Foxton they are well known in other parts of the Dominion, the Ensign having been attached for some time to Headquarters, Wellington. Mrs Huston is a fluent speaker and greatly interested in all social work, having been at one time a rescue officer. They have come full of hope to labour in the interests of the social and spiritual welfare of our t own and district. The subject for Sunday flight will be “Life and its Value,” a subject of interest in these days of commercialism. Ensign and Mrs Huston will be pleased to render any assistance in cases of need and distress or sorrow. They trust that tlier stay in Foxton wall be a long, happy and successful one.
