HOROWHENUA SHOW.

If the numerous inquiries for prize schedules is any guide, the entries for the above Show, which is to he held on the Racecourse, Levin on the 31st January, and Ist February, point, to being better than in any previous year, and favoured with line weather patrons can look forward to a very enjoyable outing. In addition to catering for the general exhibitor of stock, which section is well served with the. usual prize uu>nev and cups, the committee are endeavouring to attract the best that can be had in the competition classes. Included in this section are two jumping events which each carry a first prize of. £2O. There is also a sheep dog trial end men’s and ladies’ driving, turning, bending and other competitions, which all help to make an interesting day’s sport. There will he the usual varied side attractions tor the benefit of both young and old who care to patronise them.

Intending exhibitors are reminded that entries for all classes except post entry events (for which entries must he made on the grounds) close with R. D. Wallace, secretary, Box 27, Levin, on Saturday next, the 20th January, from whom schedules can be obtained on application.
