CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —I can just see w hat this Band trouble is all about. Our noted band . conductor is lighting for the freedom of the bandsmen and for this Band’s light to manage its own affairs. He is admiringly firm and will not tamely allow himself to be abused and trampled upon by the puny resolution of the Council, or from any other non-bandsmen. He is the founder of a Silver Band in Fox ton, at last a permanently registered concern, which suits the bandsmen and the general -public. Good luck to him for w'e love a peaceful .band, and seek it, I am etc. RATEPAYER.
