With reference to the proposed affiliation of the Post and Telegraph Officers’Association with the Alliance of Labour, “The Katipo,” the official organ of the association, states that the permanent secretary. (Mr H. E. Combs) has been instructed to “draft a petition to be forwarded for presentation to H.M. King George V., praying that the New Zealand Government be prevented from wilfully denying British subjects their lawful rights of free association within the limits of the law.”
