ROYAL PICTURES.
One of the big features of the season is “Tol’nble David” with the popular Richard Barthelmess at the Royal Thtnire on Saturday night. This is a story of the West Virginian mountains and the star plays the role of David, a youth upon whose Moulders falls the re-.-ponsibility of his family. He longs to become a mam and drive the stage coach like his big brother. His aspirations are to do those things which tlie men of the West, were famou.v —for that reason and in the meantime lie was just lol'able David. The picture is tilled with many dramatic situations and thrilling incidents. Richard Barthelmess. whose work in “Way Down East” ranked him as one of the foremost stars of the screen has here another role that- will be remembered in the history of screen drama.
This is carnival season. Look out for “Carnival” next week and the Royal special holiday attractions.
