THE LATEST MAGAZINES.
WJe have just to hand, from the publishers (Messrs Gordon and Gotch Ltd., Wellington) the following magazines:— The London.—An article of great interest to music lovers will be found in the London Magazine for September. It is entitled “Moiscwitcli at Home,” and relates an impression of the great pianist from photographs. The issue embraces many fine stories by Sophie Kerr, Edmund Snell, M. L. C. Pickthall, etc.-, also a new nature story by 11. Mortimer Batten. The pictorial section is very attractive and the London is encased in a pretty coloured cover entitled “An Autumn Rose.” The Premier. —“The Mutiny of the Tonga Belle” is a striking story in the Premier Magazine for October 17. It is written by 11. D. Couzens and is sure to appeal to all lovers of adventure. In addition there is a varied collection of complete stories by Albert Payson Terhune, Victor MacClure, Edgar Wallace, etc., and Guy Thorne continues his great story of movie life, “Cinema City.” ‘ » The above magazines are now procurable at Mrs Parkes’ shop.
