CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Kindly allow me a little space to voice a complaint which, if not stopped immediately, will, ere long, end in tragedy, and that is furious driving of motor vehicles on the sea-front. There are one or two nlers of high powered motor cycles, who think they are heroes because they can open the throttle to between thirtv-tive and sixty 7 miles an hour and get a few seasides to watch them (with their hearts in their mouths) doing such wonderful riding. Only yesterday I witnessed a very close shave for one young man and a tiny toddler of eighteen months, and a motor cyclist with a “fail - ” passenger on the “flapper bracket.” Now, sir, the holidays are very close and as everyone knows, the beaches will be crowded with kiddies, therefore, the resort should be made safe for the little ones to play on. As the police cannot be everywhere, it may 7 be possible for the pilot to take any offenders’ names, and numbers. Thanking you for valued space, I am, Sir, PICNICKER. i
