It is stated that the symptoms of lunacy oil which the certificate was issued were that the tinv had'fits of rage at home, had attacked his father with a poker, occasionally stayed in bed all day, and imagined that his brothers were favoured in preference to ban. The medical superintendent of the nsvlum said that he was bound lo admit the boy, who was placed under observation for u few days, but it was considered unnecessary to detain him. Such cases, he added, .frequently indicate nothing mo itthan hysteria.
