SUMMER SHOW.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT. The following is a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the local Horticultural Society's summer show held fast week. The statement does not include donations and suboriptions to the general account. Receipts.—Special and Points Prizes. CIS Is, entrance fees, £ls 10s (Id, door takings, £lO 10s fid, sale of exhibits, £1 2s (id, tea rooms (net), £2 18s, total £4B 2s 9d. Expenditure,—Staging, 10s, hall £4, printing and advertising £9 7s, judges’ expenses, £1 13s, incidentals, 18s 2d, total prize money to be paid, £3O 0s fid, net' profit, £1 5s Id. • The above statement, with the accounts will lie submitted at a committee meeting to be held next week. .Many suggestions as to alterations to the schedules have been made and these ' ill also he considered.
