A match for the Xye Bern- was played yesterday afternoon when a challenging tc;nn consisting <>t Christie, Parkin, Huntley, Ball (s), defen led Admore's rink by a margin of eight points. The green was in surprisingly good playing order (••msidering the amount of rain that had fallen during the previous evening, and a very pleasant game resulted. The details iu’e as follows: Christie. Parkin. Huntley. Ball (s) 22. D. Whihley, Hen-man, Healey, Admore (s) 14. The following matches in the Ailford Cup Singles contest have been played recently: —Huntley v. Christie, resulting in a win for Huntley; Smith v. Walton, a win for Smith; Huntley v. Bryant, a win for Huntley. A uia!eh for the Club Pins, the first for two seasons, was played yesterday afternoon, the challenging pair being Thomson and Roore (-) and lhe holders Parkin and Xye (s). r fhe result wa- a win for the holders, .the score- being 22 —15.
