WOOD ALCOHOL.
DEATHS IX AMERICA. New York. August 23. The National Committee for the Prevention of Blindness has issued statistics purporting to -bow that in the first half of 1022, wood alcohol caused 130 deaths and 22 case- of blindness. - More than half the fatalities occurred in New York. New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and .1.03 of the 130 deaths were reported in Lite first 12 days of 1022, states a recent cable. Tn New Zealand wo don’l know what wood alcohol is. Do we want to?
