THE ELECTORAL ROLLS.

Tlic election and the licensing referendum will be taken on 7th December. Some electors will not even take a. little trouble to see that they are in a position to exercise their rights. The Government undertakes the work of preparing the electoral rolls and seeks to make them complete; but it cannot guarantee freedom from mistakes. Eaeh elector lias the opportunity of scrutinising the rolls, and this opportunity is one that should tic used. Electors who find too late that their names have been omitted will have only themselves to blame for the omission. The rolls will be closed on the day on which the writs are issued. The rolls may be inspected at all post offices or electoral offices.
