RIFLE SHOOTING.
The first shoot for JVIr Hobinsoirs trophies was held last Saturday, at 2UO yards. Weather couditions were very good, although a puffy left breeze affected some scores. President Head wins the B.S.Af aper- _ ture presented by Rifleman Hart- ! ley. Scores were as follows: —
The second shoot next. Saturday will he held at 500 vards.
On Wednesday, two new member’s —Messrs H. D. Mclver and R. Hornblow—held their first shoot at 200 yards. The former made 42 and the latter 37. It is hoped that all new members will get in a few practice shoots in time to enter the next trophy competition.
