BONG (NEVA B TRIBUTE TO NEW ZEALAND. Bondon, 28th October. The Mayor of Bongueval, acknowledging .New Zealand's gift of 1,51)0 francs for the poor of Bongueval, declared that only New Zealand, from all the Empire, has not forgotten the unfortunate village. “New Zealand was first to deliver us from the yoke, first to assist in rebuilding, and first to heal the wounds of the poor, abandoned commune. Our gratitude is unbouued. We will never forget the immense sacrifice of our evergenerous benefactors.”
