ALL SAINTS’ BAZAAR.

The bazaar, organised and carried out by the members of All Saints' Ladies Guild in the Town Hull on Thursday afternoon and evening was a decided success. Members of the vestry assisted in erecting and decorating the stalls, which were well stocked with gifts of fancy and plain sewing, produce, sweets, cakes, etc. There" was a good attendance of the public during the afternoon and evening. The stalls were as follows: Flower, Mesdames Walton, Tver, Wyllie. Fraiikland, Tver, F. Robinson, I)r. Rowley, Betty, Xye, Boole, A. S. Easton and .Jewell; tea room*: Mesdames East, Seabury, Heasiuan, Misses King, Xye, Griffin (2) and Spring. Rev. W. Walton briefly introduced Mr Link-later to the assemblage. Mr Linklater, who was received with applause, said that lie was very pleased to he present that afternoon and to join in the opening of the bazaar. In connection with 1 lie opening of it school at the boa eh (which had been referred to by the Rev. Walton) he said that he had always had the welfare of the children at heart. He was very pleased to see such a tine display of goods and articles, which testified that the ladies had been very active and had’done a great deal of work. During the evening vocal and instrumental items were contributed by Air- Freeman, ATisses Green. Griffin (2). Y. Easton, Better and Mr Ilornblow. Mr A. Rios auctioned a quantity of unsold goods at the conclusion to good advantage. A dance was held at the conclusion to music supplied by Messrs A. ami B. Walls and C. Symons and extras by Air K. Ilirini. Air Trueman officiated as AI.C. A special word of praise is due to .Mrs Percy Easton, who’carried out the arduous duties of secretary ami to the Rev. Walton for general supervsion. The voting in the Butterfly competition was as follows: Betty Hunt Ist., fna Easton 2nd., Joyce Freeman 3rd., Joyce de Bidder 4th., •lean Coley sth. The weight of the humpty-dump-ty was 13 : , ! 1b5., and was guessed by Mr Chas. Symons; cake, (libs. 70z., Mrs .Ta*. Robinson: turkey, 241b5., Mr C. Symons.
