TOWN HALL PICTURES.
On Saturday night at the Town Hall Conway Tearle will appear in “A Wide Open Town,” a tale of gambler- and crook-. The gambling den in l lie underworld is seen in reality with its attendant vices and it- virtues, it seems hard to believe I hat virtue can llouri-h in such an atmosphere, hut the right man is there and when the raid conies his is ihe brain that rescues the innocent victims.
On Tuesday next the screening of I’; iru mount’s masterpiece. “The Sheik,” wiH take place. This magnificent gorgeous spectacle with its 3,000 player- lias created a sensation wherever it has been shown. The wonderful colour tone of the desert, the gorgeous scenes m the calc al Biskra, the Bedouins riding like the wind, the intense excitement hold- the audience .spellbound. To mi— “The Sheik” is to miss one of the finest and most entertaining spectacles ol the year.
