ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL NOTES.

Willi reference to the Wellington South v. Foxton match to he played at the local racecourse on Labour Day, the names of the Wellington players have not yet come to hand. The Poston team will iected from the followingKeid, Matthews, Hinds, Jenvy, Young, Nixon, Phillips, Francis, Ball, Madden, Wilby, Chaffey, Mounsey,. McIvnght, Cook, and Binnner. - Any of the above who will not he available are requested to notify ihe secretary not later than Saturday night. Mr .1. McKnight snr., will act as referee. All members are requested to meet at the Post Office on Saturday night (especially the members who have undertaken to help with the billeting of the visiting team) at 8.30 p.m. to give the visitors a hearty welcome.
The president will officiate at the kick-off.
