HIGH COMMISSIONER’S CABLE. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 14th inst., reads :“Hemp, manila- market, quiet and tendency easier at the close. ‘J’ grade, Oe-tober-December shipments, again sold down to £3l. Present quotations for ‘G’ grade are £33 10s; ‘H’ £32 10s; ‘J’ £3O 10s. Sellers, New Zealand, unchanged. £32 10s nowasked for high points and £3O 10s r* to £3O 15s fair, October-Deeember■/ shipments and Novembershipments, but no transaction reported.
