ROYAL PICTURES.
Patrons of the Royal Theatre are promised another Clara Kimball Young treat in “Charge It” to be screened to-night. In this realistic picture Alias Young assumes four different roles, and the remarkable point is the effectiveness with which she enacts each part, Also a Larry Semon Comedy, “The Stage Hand,” and extra, “With Stanley in Africa.” Prices 6d and 1/1. . On Alonday night the long looked for picture, “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” will be shown. A matinee will also be given in the afternoon so as to enable all to see world’s greatest picture. A costume factory was erected on the Metro studio grounds ,for “dressing” the production. The taking of the picture took more than six months to complete. Upwards of 12,000 persons were engaged. Alore than 125,000 tons of masonry, steel, lumber, furniture and shrubbery—in excess of the materials Jised in the Woolworth buildings—were used in constructing the massive settings. A collection of art treasures from galleries and private sources, valued beyond price, was used in dressing the handsome interior settings. The insurance alone on these art works was 375,000 dollars. The cast interpreting the roles in the most widely read book of all time, excepting the Bible, contains fifty principal players who in other productions would be rated as stars.
