QUA R.TERLY MEETING.
A meeting of the Circuit officials was held in the Foxton school-room ou Thursday evening, Rev. L. Miniiie presiding. Financial report ws-|_ considered satisfactory. It was reported that the Circuit car had been purchased and paid for meanwhile by loans advanced by members. It was anticipated that the forthcoming Shannon Bazaar would clear off a large amount of the loan money due. The Sunday School reports were most satisfactory. Shannon and Oroua Downs reported marked progress in every way. Messrs Oxley and W. Bullard were appointed auditors of the Circuit accounts and Mrs Carter and Mr Chrystall were appointed delegates to District Synod to be held in Foil ding in November. It was decided to call a special meeting of the Foxton Church officials within the next two weeks for special congregational ■business. The Rev. L. Minifie was accorded a most hearty and unanimous invitation to remain a third year as minister of the Foxton Cir>\ cuit, Mr Minifie agreeing to accept the invitation. Foxton Sunday School was granted a special Sunday for Anniversary services.
