STEEPLEJACK’S FALL.
A REMARKABLE ESCAPE. LONDON, Sept. 8. While repairing the highest chimney stack in Glasgow George Armstrong overbalanced and fell 90 feet head first into a tank of water. He missed the stout iron bars, a yard apart, which guarded the tank, and sustained only minor injuries, of which slight concussion of the brain was the worst.
