SIKHS VICTORY UPHELD. LONDON, Sept. 28. The French Boxing Federation upholds Siki’s victory over Carpentier. — A. and N.Z. cable. CONTRADICTORY MESSAGE. NEW YORK, Sept. 29. Mr Tex Rickard announced the receipt of a cablegram from Mr Gus Wilson, Carpentier’s trainer, stating that the French Boxing Federation lias reversed the decision giving Silti the light-heavy weghl chainponship. The cable reads: “Carpentier undefeated. Decision French commission annulled. Ctirpeniier still champion." —A. and N.Z. cable. J. TRACEY v. FIRPO. MATCH IN BUENOS AIRES. BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 26. Great interest is being shown in tlut fortltcoming bout between iirpo, the South American heavy-weight, and Jim Tracey, of New Zealand. Both men are training ' assiduously. The light will bo held in an open-air amphitheatre. Fifty thousand tickets have been sold. Tracey expects io return to the States immediately alter tile light.—A. and N.Z. cable.
