HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 23rd instant, reads : —- Manila market firmer, and good business has been done. J grade, September-November shipments, sold up to £3l 15s, and £32 os. G grade quoted at £34 10s, H £33 10s. New Zealand market firmer, with fair business being done on the basis of £32 10s for high points, and £3l for October-Decembcr shipments.
