THE WOOL MARKETS.
PRICES RISE IN BRISBANE. BRISBANE, Sept. 20. At the wool sales prices showed a sharp rise compared with the proceeding wool sales. Altogether 14,000 bales wore offered. The French were the biggest buyers, but Italy and Germany also bought heavily. The increased prices ranged from 10 to 15 per cent. —Press Association.
