LIQUOR AND ECONOMICS.

TOWN HALL, MONDAY. Mr O. E. Burton, M.A., who speaks at the Town Hall on Alonday evening, is a brilliant young New Zealander, who comes from our New Zealand universities with honours. He is a most vigorous speaker, and having made a deep study of economics, is well qualified to discuss such burning questions as Liquor aud Labour, Liquor and Taxation, Liquor and Liberty. Mr Burton is essentially a man’s man. He delights to have men question him, and question him closely, on matters relative to his address. As a close reader of the Liquor Party’s publication, “Cheerio,” he has some rather revealing remarks to make of many of its assertions. All are invited to attend the meeting on Monday night. The Mayor (Air John Chrystall) has consented to preside and introduce the speaker.
