ALLEGED INDECENT ASSAULT
ON LITTLE GIRL. ACCUSED COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. At the local Police Court this morning, before Messrs Perreau • incl Robertson, J’s.P., a young man named Leonard Richard McAllister was charged, in remand from Palmerston N., that he had committed a serious offence on a girl aider the age of 16 years, at Foxion on September 2nd. Detective-Sergeant Quirke , conducted the prosecution, and Mr M. 11. Bergin appeared on behalf of
•censed. At the conclusion of the case for he prosecution, the Court' issued iu order prohibiting the • i the evidence.
The accused pleaded not guilty, aid was remanded to appear at the Supreme Court, Palmerston North, for trial on the 7tli November.
Bail was fixed at £IOO, and one urcty of £IOO.
