GERMANY’S BLUNDERS.
WHAT HAPPENED IN 1917. BERLIN, Sept. 3. The Reichstag committee has issued a report on the 1917 peace overtures. R finds that an earnest desire for peace existed then, but the German Governments blunders brought them to nought. There is no evidence to show whether peace could have been reached if the Government had not blundered. The ex-Chancellnr Muhaelts, K uehlinann, Zimmerinunn, Biooksdort, Rantzau and Sehiedemann and a number of generals gave evidence. A. and N.Z. cable.
