LONDON WOOL SALES
Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 4th September, 1922 :• — “Wool sales have opened. There is a large attendance of buyers and competition is keen. As compared with the closing rates of the last series, Merinos are Id per lb. dearer; tine crossbreds, 46/48’s, are Id per lb. dearer; medium crossbreds, 44/46’s, .{(1 per lb. dearer; coarse crossbreds, 40/44’s, unchanged.”
